When and where did you first try sailing? Sailing in Baltimore in a Mirror with my mum when I was 4.

What was the first race you won? Saturday league racing in Baltimore.
When did you first represent Ireland? 2010 at the 4.7 Europeans in Lac Hourtin, France.
How did you progress from a Club sailor to an Olympic class sailor? Trained loads and got a trial for the ISA Academy in 2011.
What’s your boat name? Pride of Baltimore.
Who has been the biggest influence in your career to date? David Harte from the Fastnet Marine OEC.
What was your worst sailing moment? Being beaten by my little sister.
What was your best sailing moment? Winning the Europa Cup on Lake Garda in 2013.
What is your favourite boat to sail? Laser.
What do you eat for breakfast on a race day? Cereal.
What is the best sailing venue in Ireland? Schull. Baltimore is pretty good too.
What is the best sailing venue in the world? Lake Garda.
What was your most expensive sailing accident? I drove a RIB very slowly into a mooring block in Baltimore, destroying the engine.
If you weren’t a full-time sailor what would you be? Engineering student.
Do you have any heroes? Roy Keane, Ronan O’Gara.
Do you play any other sports? I used to play under-age Gaelic Football for Ilen Rovers.
What do you do for fun? Other water sports.
What would you love to do but never have the time or money for it? Skiing holidays.
